About this website
17wonders is a free platform entirely dedicated to haiku — the short Japanese poem, traditionally composed of seventeen syllables — able to spark images and emotions, and to capture, in just a few words, the wonders — big or small — that surround us.
I designed this site in the spirit of haiku: encourage collaboration among users, provide a light and uncluttered interface, highlight what matters with simplicity, and keep only what is strictly necessary (see the site's data protection policy for details).
There are no barriers here: everything is completely free and open to everyone. There are no borders either: you can write or read haiku in over twenty languages and explore season words from all over the world. No algorithm will decide for you what you should see or like.
If you would like to support my work and help cover hosting and maintenance costs, you can make a donation via Buy me a coffee, available in the footer below.
Whether you are simply curious, a beginner, or an experienced haijin, I wish you a pleasant journey on 17wonders.
